Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

This is the Christmas tree at my aunt/uncle/cousins' house where we had Christmas Eve this year.

They have what I refer to as the "busiest" trees I've ever seen... decked out with lights all the way into the "trunk," (they use a fake) and then so many ornaments that they aren't more than 2 inches apart anywhere on the tree. Usually there are beads and tinsel, too, but not this year.

It was an enjoyable time with my dad's side of the family, complete with crazy comments from my crazy uncle, having some of my past experiences used as examples of what NOT to do for my little cousins, and strawberry daiquiris. It's amazing how fun Christmas Eve can be when strawberry daiquiris are involved... especially with as much rum as they used in these! Oh and FYI: my "little" cousin Steve is 6'7"... ha.
