Down Time

Day shift today. We had a drill all morning on a new piece of equipment that is going to be implemented onto the trucks to detect flammable, high oxygen and low oxygen environments. The teleboom (truck with a big ladder on the top) went out and got us our lunch so now I am just messing about on the computer!!

There is often a lot of 'down time' in the fire brigade, especially in the outer suburbs so people do all sorts of things to amuse themselves! Television, reading, surfing the Internet, studying, washing your car and table tennis are just some!! Today's shot is of the table tennis bat and ball resting on the table in the unused part of the engine bay!
