Snow

This is only the second snow of the season for Harbin. I think our last snow was about 6 weeks ago or so. In typical Harbin fashion it snows only a few centimeters. Just enough snow to cause problems on the roads but not enough to shut this place down for the day.

Also in Harbin fashion is the coal soot. Even though it only stopped snowing hours before this photo was taken this morning the streets are charcoal gray with the soot.

Obviously, the slush is making it tough for these folks to get around too. I find it fascinating how older or elderly people still work hard and ride bikes full of wares and heavy objects. The lady looks to old to be bearing down hard against a slow moving trike.
