Daddy Goose

Not that great of a shot today. I drove by Empire Lake early this morning, and took a few shots of a "blah" sky and as I was getting back into the car, I had spooked the ducks and they all flew into the air honking wildly, Well, "Daddy Goose" came to challenge me. He is this big goose that protects the ducks in the lake.

I don't know if he thinks he is their daddy or their mate. Either way, it is totally weird. I pretty much give him a wide path though. After I got into the car, he was happy and went back down to the lake. That is when I took this shoot. All the little ducks were huddling all around him.

Everybody needs to feel needed, I guess.
