Cookies

Jo decided that she wanted to make cookies today. She made the dough and I baked them in my stove. This is the result.

It was a bit hilarious lighting the stove today. We had nearly 100mm of rain last night and most of my firewood is either wet of damp. That coupled with very little wind made for a very smoky start.

Jo almost gave up on me. After about half an hour when there was a reasonable bed of coal I was able to put some more wood on and the fire was well on its way. After baking the cookies I threw a pizza in there for lunch.

After last nights downpour it carried on raining again today 40mm when I last checked. It has just been a very wet Christmas break. Mind you, a lot of people in Queensland are a lot worse off than us right now.
