Ash Grey

This could have been taken in black and white and looked pretty much the same. It's Cockenzie power station as seen from the 'lagoons' in Musselburgh. The lagoons are where the ash from the power station comes to be used in a landfill/reclamation project. Some of the area is now a wildlife haven and is green and leafy. The active lagoon is like something from a science fiction film all grey ash, mist, bubbling mud and bleakness.
