Hornby Meccano Carriages

I met my father today to collect my belated Christmas present of some binoculars ready for my ever looming trip. (4 days now!) They're great and i can't wait to start viewing some spectacular scenery and wildlfe through them.

He also brought these 2 train carriages to show me from his childhood which he had dug out from goodness knows where.. They are in immaculate condition and have real character about them and have greatly increased their value from the 4s8d price tag pencilled in on their original boxes! I don't think they make them like they used to anymore.
