Every year

I take a photo of the gifts my husband gave me for Christmas. I also write all the gifts I received from family and such in a journal. Around June of the following year, I like to get my list out and look at the photos. I make sure to thank my loved ones again for a specific gift I was given and tell them why I love it so much. I started this tradition a few years back when I realized I could never remember what I was given the year before and felt really bad about the money and time spent on the presents yet were forgotten after the holidays were over. So this is my photo...nothing special or artistic about it but something that will remain with me throughout the years.
