How do you describe this feeling, this... missing? Wanting?

God made each and every one of us to want relationships, whether it's friendship or a romantic one.

Maybe it's the effect of the sad song playing in the background right now but, all of a sudden, I want to miss someone. And have the feeling that he misses me too.

Then it hit me.

That's what God feels when we forget Him.
That pain, loneliness and the wanting to have His child miss Him too.
