Magical Mystery Tour

After getting dropped late last night at Brize the aircraft departure was delayed from 0100 till 0320, but the bonus was that we could make it direct to Washington Dc rather than via St Johns in Canada. Problem was when we got to Washington.... they had the wrong type of fuel!!! Can you believe it? I couldn't!

So while hanging around I thought I'd blip the panel at the Air Loadmaster's desk at the back of the VC10 which flew us out... it's out of the ark! But still works!

So the up shot was we had a night off in Washington DC while they figured out what to do.

Put up in a nice hotel... and I did a little shopping!
