replication

i was ridiculously surprised to see the snow this morning but i rushed outside to see if i could replicate last year's image. i learned a lesson. even if you are lucky enough to get a good shot once, you'll probably never have the perfect conditions to try it again.

things that didn't help today:
- a much more easily distracted dog.
- rubbish, cloudy sky.
- no sun to create lovely shadows.

oh well, moss got an extra walk so he's happy. i feel a bit bad taking advantage of the snow for photographic purposes as i know it's really come at a bad time for friends and family today. snow is bad.
