Plough Monday
Long before we were all dweebs and did gross tweets and blogs there was, maybe still is, although it would be gnarly, a tradition called Plough Monday. It is the first Monday after 12th night and usually saw the resumption of work after Christmas, a plough was pulled from house to house collecting money. Plough pudding was eaten on this day which was a suet pudding filled with meat and onions.
