Things That Annoy Me #1 : Magazine Models.

No, not those kind, you smutty so-and-so, I mean those replica models that come piece by piece with a magazine over many weeks.
The latest, being advertised on TV just now, is a scale replica of the famous James Bond Aston Martin DB5 that is 'identical in every way' and is the same size and weight as a large dog. With the first issue you get something along the lines of a single spark plug and some tiny driving gloves.
And yet, after Issue 1 you never hear of it again, never see the next issues in the shops......nothing.......gone......phwhoo.....like Kaiser Sauzee.

Does anyone know of anyone who has ever completed one of these models?

It's a con, right? They make 10,000 spark plugs, 20,000 tiny driving gloves and then sod off to Barbados.
