New life old bee

I found this poor bumble bee while I was dusting today....I've been frantically cleaning since first thing this morning, pretty shattered now, my sister went in for a c section this morning and Alissa my little niece arrived at 10:34am! :) I've never been an aunty before, so I'm quite overwhelmed by it all....and my sister is the younger of us two, so if feels doubly weird! to me anyway.

I'm not sure why I took a photo of a dead bee, but I guess as a new life arrived today it softened the blow of finding him, I get quite sad when I find bees that have died...bees and spiders, well anything really!.....anyway, not sure if I was trying to be profound there or what, that'll be a mixture of tiredness, shock, excitement, happy pills and red wine!!!
