In between homes

This old little house is sandwiched between two tall buildings, just across the street from my appartment. It is now unoccupied, but was squatted for several years by a group of young people who reject society, especially when it comes to paying a rent (and said so all around the neighbourhood via pamphlets and posters and wall writing/painting).
I wouldn't have minded all that except that they were very loud, throwing all-night parties in the garden behind the house, playing football in the street, etc.
They were finally evicted at 6 am on a Tuesday morning by a busload of armed policemen, who even went up on the roof with their firearms to make sure the guys (and girls) would come out. The eviction lasted all morning and I was afraid someone would get hurt.
Every now and then these young people (or some others) come back for a while, but they seem to always leave before the police intervene again.
Probably wiser!
