standing solo

Amelie has been standing very briefly for a good couple of months now but today she has been standing lots and doing it by herself. Before when she noticed she was doing it she panicked and dropped to her knees but today she seems to have got over that and kept standing until she wanted to go somewhere else. Hooray!

I can't believe how much her character is really coming out now. She is always making us laugh. She is determined and likes to investigate things but she is also very cautious and learns quickly how not to do something. When we were up in Scotland my mum noticed her banging her head on the coffee table trying to pick something up. She dropped it a few more times and made sure she avoiding banging her head again.

A few people have said to us that she is going to be wild...and I think I may have to agree...
