Wash Away

Moving Craig into his new house! The place is amazing in some regards, but not-so-amazing in others - like all of the dust and grime from lack of persistent cleaning. I was up very late polishing and cleaning the master bedroom chest of drawers by lamplight. The project, left unfinished that evening, haunted my dreams.

Bright lights have blinded your sights.
They can't adjust when day turns to night.
And so you watched me wash away
But maybe we'll catch up someday.

People have described his new home as a little love nest. Right now, it just feels like a big, never-ending project.
