Daylight's End

I took this with the 'proper' camera - I thought I should, now that the computer and internet are running smoothly! It was early afternoon, and the sunlight was rapidly giving way to an ominous black raincloud...

These flowers graced our home for over a week, quietly sharing their beauty and colour in a most unassuming fashion.

Now, they have reached the end of their life, they are at rest with the overripe fruit and vegetable peelings in the compost bucket.

A sad end - but so life begins again, as they are used to help new plants to grow come the Spring...
