You wait ages for a guitar blip

Then three come along at the same time.

We had to nip to guitar guitar for some bits and pieces today and Maddy decided she wanted to try out some guitars. She's keen to start saving up for a more serious guitar and to be honest she's getting good enough to justify a better one.

What she really wants is one of these in arctic white. I've been suggesting to her that if she wants to spend proper money on a guitar she really should be trying lots of different ones until she finds the one she's comfortable with and she likes the sound of.

If she keeps sticking at it which, given that she's been learning for five years now, shouldn't be a problem then we could even help her out with some money towards one at the end of the year when it's birthday and Christmas time. As long as she's making a decent effort to save herself obviously.

I thought this Classic player's 60s strat was pretty cool but Mads wasn't as convinced.
