Mind the Gap

Another storm blew through this morning while Chris was working on the new stairs connecting the deck to the backyard. Chris is the project manager of the work on our basement and does much of the work himself. He's truly a jack of all trades, and a skilled, conscientious worker.

After lunch the rain stopped, the wind subsided, and the sun shone later in the afternoon.

Miss Annie had another one of her Alfred Hitchcock moments as I took the photo.

The painters were inside giving the wood trim its first coat of paint. They'll be finished on Monday and everything else will be done before the end of the week.
