Crazy Wednesdays ---
Took the kids to school, then took Grandma on her errands, then ran to the thrift store in search of snow gear, then to get the kids from school (minimum day), homework then soccer practice in the freezing cold! Run, run, run! Good news of today --- I had success at the thrift store in finding all 3 boys rain coats (handy for winter soccer), a snow jacket for me, snow pants for Loren, new snow gloves and one more jacket for a grand total of $40. Score!
THIS BLIP PHOTO IS OF THE BOYS AFTER-SCHOOL TREAT AT BASKIN ROBBINS. LIAM IS BEING GOOFY AS USUAL IN THIS PIC. HE HAS A CHOCOLATE-LINED MOUTH. I EXPERIMENTED WITH THIS PIC AND "POSTERIZED" IT. I THOUGHT IN THIS 40 DEGREE WEATHER WE WOULD BE THE ONLY ONES THERE, BUT THEY WERE INTENT ON SPENDING THEIR GIFT CERTIFICATES SANTA PUT IN THEIR STOCKINGS. SURPRISINGLY, THERE WERE A FEW PEOPLE AT B&R. I GUESS PEOPLE FEEL THAT IT'S NEVER TOO COLD FOR ICE CREAM.
