I couldn't eat another thing........

despite my best efforts, I was unable to eat my way through all of the mini-food mountain purchased 'just in case' and so some of the fruit went off before I could graze on it. I feel guilty 'cause I was taught never to waste food but it was a very modest amount.

I wonder how much food never gets eaten at this time of year; some idea here.
