My City Day 84 Postcard 18

Riverdale Farm is a working farm located about a 10 minute walk from my home. We are very lucky to have a farm such as this in the downtown are of Toronto. For many inner city children it is their only exposure to animals, they may only read about or see in books. I must say that as a vegetarian it also may provide a connection to the food they may be eating without an awareness of where it came from:-)

We had 15cm of snow this morning so I wanted to capture this before it became the usual brown, slushy snow of the city.
