The Harbour at St Andrews
Normal lazy winter start to Saturday with a cup of tea and James Martin in bed.
Last night we had a smattering of snow which must have then melted and then frozen into sheet ice. Which is nice. We decided to head into St Andrews, avoiding the back roads and that was probably a good idea as even on the main road we saw an icident with the police in attendance. A car had gone off the road in the ice and hit a stone wall. The front end was totally caved in, I hope no one was hurt.
St Andrews was looking particularly nice with bright blue skies, despite the temperature being -2. I will gloss over the fact that I failed to put the battery in the big camera after doing a spot of camera admin last night. I shall leave that detail to Mr Lif We tried not to squabble over who would have the point and click (failed)
I couldn't believe that there were people actually surfing in the sea. I took some pics and will shove them on fb later on.
This is the harbour looking lovely and bright in the winter sun, plenty of birds, ducks and swans and the little boats to add some extra colour :)
Time for cava I think :) Have a great Saturday!
