Feeling old (and moderately grumpy)

Woke up early this morning with a killer headache, which isn't like me, I'm not really a headachey kind of person (except when wine is involved). Within the hour I was being violently sick, and this hell continued without respite for four and a half hours. It was only when the sickness stopped and the headache started to ease that I realised what was wrong - migraine. Bah. Only my second ever, 8 years since my last and hopefully another 8 at least until my next!

Anyway, once I had recovered from being hit for six by that, I headed into town to pick up PhotoPro mag from WHSmith. I took my camera and new lens in case I saw anything interesting, but knew my blipping time would be minimal. I'll have to get out and play with it properly soon! It's always when you're feeling crap and in a rush that there's something happening that completely clogs up the centre of town, normally it's roadworks, today it was hoardes of screaming teenage girls.

JLS were in town. Now I've heard of JLS and I'm sure I'd know some of their tunes if you played them to me, but I wouldn't recognise them if I fell over them. So I didn't really understand all the shouting and waving and crying (yes, seriously) of the girls of Belfast. These two were happy(ish) to pose with their signed merchandise as I barged my way through the crowd.

Anyway, thanks for all the comments on my last couple of entries, I planned to catch up with my commenting this evening but I'm trying to minimise my time in front of glowing things while the headache lingers. I'm not as grumpy as I might seem in this blip btw, I've got some nice emails to reply to tomorrow and a potential new wedding client in a fab venue. Also heading to London at the end of the week for a photographic convention so lots to be happy about :)
