Spent most of the day freezing my toes off down the stables, attempting to take portraits of various reluctant horses.
The problem with equine photography is that what might look like a lovely picture to you or me might look like a terrible picture to the owner.
The main thing apparently is the ears - they MUST be pricked and forward in an intelligent looking manner - otherwise everyone horsey will think that your expensive prize-winning steed looks like a donkey.
This is Teaser. You would never think she could look like a donkey - but you should see some of the rejects.
