Decisive moment

So I was trying to capture reflections in this puddle, with mixed results, when this wee fella flew across my frame, and almost succeeded in keeping his little paws dry.

If you're a photo dork like me, you'll know know what I thought of as soon as the shutter closed. I couldn't have imitated, staged or parodied it better if I had tried. All credit goes to the little dog.

A white dog, note, not a black cat. Might explain this.
