The Leeds Liverpool canal and another wintery afternoon.

Me on foot. Son on two wheels ahead of me most of the time and getting impatient with me taking photographs.

We came across a collection of ducks and geese standing on a section of the canal that was frozen and were fascinated to hear the ice crack beneath their webbed feet as they toddled along it as best they could. They obviously found it fascinating too or they wouldn't have kept doing it!

Late afternoon, sun going down rapidly, low temperature to match. Despite this encountered an abundance of dog walkers. And their dogs.
