What a difference a pin makes

One of the four pins broke and the external hard disk didnt work anymore. No big thing except for the fact that this is where a l l my photos are. I searched everywhere and got the answer that a new cable didnt exist - it was too old. But the story ended happily with a new contact with another person at the help desk and this angel found what I needed.
