Red sky in the morning....

Well it's back so perhaps the red sky presages a bit more snow to come. Lovely colour in the sky this morning.

It's not that I don't enjoy snow - I do, especially when I can get skiing, but it's the constant changing shoes to slippers every time I want to go out to the garage for something and as the freezer and tumble dryer live there it is quite a lot.

I had to shake the snow off my netting again as I daren't leave the nets off because of the wood pigeons. Mind you some of my broccoli is looking rather sick after the hard frosts and they were the ones that are supposed to be especially hardy! The bog standard early purple sprouting is looking better than Rudolph. Oh well back to the seed catalogues for a little light reading.........
