Scolty Tower

Disaster! I missed a Blip for Friday, never mind, at least my new contract came through so I can hand in my notice on Monday!

I went to view a car today in Banchory, a Ford Puma, something of which i've owned before and know all about and this particular Puma suffered from it's arch enemy, rust, the rear wings are notoriously bad on the Puma and this example was no exception, with flakes of metal falling into my hand as I felt around the back of the arch, the trip out was not wasted however.

After lunch at Raemoir we headed up a snowy Scolty hill, there was no snow in Aberdeen so to see a few inches further inland was a bit of a surprise, I was hoping it would be clear as I want to go mountain biking here tomorrow but with there being solid ice under the snow there is no chance of that! We slowly made our way up the hill but were rewarded with stunning views across to Clachnaben as the sun set.
