Sun setting over Hoek van Holland

The sun made an appearance today for the first time in ages so I decided a trip to the coast was in order. It was a bitterly cold wind but felt so good to see some sunshine and blue skies, not a cloud in sight.

This sunset scene was taken at Berghaven with the industrial terrain of the Europoort in silhouette on the other side of the Nieuwe Maas river.
