Bald Eagle

By JohnJD

Kashmiri goats were introduced onto the Great Orme by the wonderfully named Major General Sir Savage Mostyn. He had acquired them from Queen Victoria's Windsor flock for his park at Gloddaeth Hall but they may have proved unsuccessful as park animals. Welsh farmers sometimes run goats with sheep in the hope that the goats will forage in the dangerous places and stop the sheep from straying there. They are certainly sure footed enough to gain access to the narrowest ledge in search of something good to eat.

You could make a nice cashmere sweater from this lot.
