Dumbarton Castle Sunrise
Hi , definitely mary's Meanderings this wekend. Strted with me taking a "Breakfast" shot only to discover the challenge is for Monday 10th not Saturday ! great start.
Supposed to be taking our grandsons to Glasgow from Bakfron . Headed there from Furnace near Inveraray where we live.
Change of plan , went to Clydebank instead which involved meandering through Killearn, Strathblane Milngavie, b
Bearsden and finally into Clydebank, Did some birthday shopping, got a meal then went to the cinema tosee Gulliver's Travels in 3D.
On the way home the weather worsened , took forever to return the boys to Balfron then headed back to Argyll via Balloch. As I say definitely meandering across the countryside on Saturday.
To crown it all we were turned back at Arden roundabout on the Loch Lomond road by the police because of dangerous travelling conditions on the Rest and Be Thankful so had to stay in Dumbarton with my sister overnight.
Headed back at first light this morning , rewarded by a beautiful sky over the River l
Leven and Dumbarton Castle Rock.
Very relieved to be back home.
Now looking forward to doing the breakfast shoot all over again tomorrow morning. That's life!
