New Years Day Stroll

With Phoebe having been up late the night before she slept in slightly, it was closer to 9 before she woke up, again telling me she was awake before clambering into my bed for a hug.

We made our way downstairs and everyone else soon followed, we soon found out that Phoebe must have been a very good girl during 2010 as not only did Santa bring her presents to her mummy's house on xmas day, but he had dropped some off at Auntie Sam's for her too! She soon got stuck into the presents and had opened them all, looking extremely chuffed with herself, an old style wooden tea set seemed to be her favourite, as she sat with me making me lovely cups of tea.

After breakfast we headed down to Tynemouth beach for a walk, but it was far too cold so we headed into Crusoes cafe which is right on the beach, not before nearly being caught out by a wave which sent me desperately grabbing Phoebe before it soaked her feet!

In the afternoon we headed back to the house to do what should be done on New Years day, very little! Well, other than playing that is.
