Date night

The title and the picture have no connection...although if they did I am sure it would be a fantastic story. I thought this sign was cool and it was outside the bar we stopped into yesterday afternoon for a beer and a little football.

At the end of our afternoon out we went home to rest a bit before we headed out on a little "date night"....

When we were working together and secretly dating once and a while we would set up our dates over an outlook meeting invite (romantic, huh?), but it actually became pretty funny...filling the invite with detailed agenda items of what we would be looking to cover during that night's dinner date. Now we are married, but if you knew my husband, you would know that his humor is such that he still enjoys outlining to me potential dinner topics giving me time to prepare...last night's included...
- My new job - pro's and con's (specifically as it effects my husband)
- Updates on his trip to South Africa in a couple weeks
- Thoughts around our trip to Italy in April

He's so weird, but he makes me laugh every time. We had a lovely evening out where we covered the bulleted items above as well as many other things important to us (gossiping about work people, places we want to eat, work we want to do to our house). I love sitting at a bar with him, having a stout as we did last night just feeling very happy.
