Airport

Waiting for the airplane at JFK Airport,
It was drizzling outside,
waiting all alone,
sitting at Gate A7,
what a long walk it was.

Tired, excited, mixed feelings,
but still excited about the flight.
Excited to see my family back home,
Relieved to be away from all the griefs and issues
although I'll be leaving them for short.

Still I need to take a break from all of the issues
in my life ...
