Snow Day

We had a "skiff" of snow this morning that melted within a couple of hours. Up in the hills above us though there was a little more. Hubby and I drove up to one of his jobs this afternoon and at 1700 ft. found about 9-12 inches.
I love being the first to drive/ride through the snow. There's just something about the discovery of it I guess. Knowing you're the first one through the area that day. The road forks at this tree. We drove to the left. The right being a spur road that ended in a few hundred feet. Arrived back home at dark. We're supposed to get snow to the valley floor on Wednesday.
