Blackberry Mincemeat Pie by Big R

Our friend Barbara, who recently lost her daughter, acquired a jar of mincemeat from her neighbor and was yearning for a mincemeat pie. (no real meat just spices and raisons etc.) so Big R promised to make her one for a post holiday gift!. He found one also calling for blackberries so he made this version combined with the mincemeat and then topped it all off with a Blackberry sauce!

We drove out to Edmonds where she lives and share a piece with her and then left her the rest of the pie which, I might add, was incredibly delicious! Nice job Big R the pie man;)
