Recovery

I spent some time in the garage when I got home from my first day back at work. Mostly just to kid myself this is part of what makes working worthwhile.

So I painted some more of my stove parts.

Work wasn't all that bad though. I spent some time settling in and by 10am it was as if I hadn't been on holiday.

It rained again today...torrential. Not as bad as some of the towns just inland from the coast. People have actually been swept away when a flash flood came through the middle of their town.

Hopefully the weather will clear up over the next few days. The state premier has warned us that 1 more big rain event and Brisbane will be in for some very serious flooding.
