Chateau de Foix

While the rest of the region was under blue skies, and a winter sun was melting the hard night frost, I was obliged to go to mist-bound Foix, crouching in it's cradle of invisible mountains.
On the radio a man was reading an extract from Ovid's Metamorphoses - the creation of the earth: matter condensing and forming shape. As if by coincidence, the Chateau de Foix rose out of the chaos.
