Sunshine and snow ice
Thursday was a kind of difficult day, in some ways.
The realisation that I was leaving made me grumpy and upset. However, I had a lovely walk in the morning with Mum and Dad along the reservoir and it was the most beautiful day imaginable. So sunny and barely any clouds in the sky.
I then went into town and had a painful dentist op - anaesthetic in the mouth is not fun. Took some nice film photos of Morningside though; black and white and in the sun, so I'm looking forward to seeing them.
Then I went to visit Grandma. Why are goodbyes always so difficult?
It got me down a bit.
I bumped into two people I knew on the street, one after the other - brightened my mood. But then feeling down again at Daniel's.
Shopping in Urban Outfitters made it all better. I like shopping with my boyfriend.
Then a wonderful meal at the Filmhouse (old tradition with two friends) exchanging presents, eating the same meals as always and laughing and the goodbyes this time weren't so bad.
Dropped off at the Pear Tree at 9ish and picked up to go home with Daniel to Gladhouse.
