Another view of the original farmhouse

We have had a busy day down in the woods behind the house. There are so many trees which have blown down over the last year or two.

So, we have been out there all day, logging up and barrowing them into the trailer, then back up the hill and stacking them under the lean-to. But, I have loved every minute of it.

I love that feeling of actually working hard, physically, outside in the wonderful weather, it doesnt matter whether it is cold, wet, foggy or sunny. Just being outside, working....wonderful!

When we had finished, I climbed up onto the straw bales and took some photos through the windows. This is the clearest one, you can actually see the cupboards half way up the stairs - wonder if they kept the sheets and blankets in there?
