Nesting black swans

Today it snowed (it never snows here) I went back to the large pond to check on the black swans who have eggs. Why in winter, I don't know. They take turns sitting on the nest and protecting each other.
also an osprey swooped down on a duck who went under water and the osprey hovered above waiting to no avail. and a great shot of a flying seagull. I say great because I never could get a bird flying shot with my lesser camera.
