red sofa excitement

This picture makes me laugh so much everytime I look at it. Its a new Amelie face and she pulls it whilst making a funny shouting noise - like she is really excited. Anyway she is obviously excited here sitting on our new RED sofa! It was white but thanks to the wonder that is IKEA and the fact it was covered in tea from the incident the other day we bought a new red cover for it (Ikea trip was yesterday. Louise and I went whilst Lewis and Chris watched the girls. We were silly to think that it would be a nice break as Ikea was manic and we were exhausted)

We popped out today to hobbycraft as there were a few bits I wanted to get (although I didn't anticipate it being £30 worth of bits...oops) and then we went to buy a goldfish bowl (well, we wanted a bowl but ended up with a tank) as we are getting two fish very soon. The tank needs to stand for a week apparently so we have to wait a little longer. If we didn't live in a flat we may have ended up with cats because Amelie loves them so much. One day...

Because we went out at nap time Amelie didn't have a proper decent nap so she was exhausted by the time we got back. She was sick in the middle of her dinner, which was strange, and then a few times afterwards, which is normal, but seems right as rain otherwise.

The little monkey has just woken up. She barely made any noise and I went to check her and she was just standing up in her cot. The usual 10.30 drama. But Daddy is at work so I just brought her straight through to our bed and I will be joining her in a minute...
