Summer

Today for lunch we went to Riverview Cafe, down on the Buller River. I took my camera hoping to catch photos of kids jumping off the rocks, but I guess I was a bit early because there were none there. Instead I took many photos of bumblebees on dahlias and daisies. I've chosen this one today becuase the bokeh of the background is made up of the sun sparkling on the Buller River and the rocks across on the far bank.

This year we have been absolutely inundated with these little bumblebees.
