Littlehampton Harbour

We're having a mixed bag of weather today, and it was reasonably dry when I needed to go out this morning, so I took the camera with me.

Didn't manage to take too many photos because it started to rain (again), but I liked the vertical lines in this one, and the distant sun on the South Downs. I was standing alongside the River Arun, where it comes in from the sea, and facing towards the Littlehampton footbridge, and of course, the South Downs in the far distance.

It's quite a busy little harbour, with a range of fishing and sailing boats, and is home to the very first Blue Peter lifeboat (for anyone with a memory that stretches that far back!). Maybe I'll blip that another day.
