Penny Lane Liverpool
This is a small section of that road made famous by those four Lads from Liverpool, I have never been down this road before but just passed the end on the way to somewhere else.
In its 'hey day' 1950's it was a probably a thriving community which is why the Beatles wrote a song about it. Whether it improves at night I haven't a clue but to be honest doesn't look much different from any other road in the area.
It is very long and the shops are split from each end, I took this shot because of the shop names.
Having never driven down this 'Lane' I wasn't quite sure were I'd end up however when I passed the famous 'Blue-coat School' and reached the well known Picton Clock (in liverpool) I knew where I was.
As you can see the sun is showing off to-day; hope it will be so where you are.
Viewed large might be better.
