Tree canopy

Look up! My favourite perspective when photographing trees. I went for a walk today around an area of woodland close to the Nieuwe Maas river between the cities of Vlaardingen and Maassluis, one of my favourite spots to get away from it all.

The weather was still extremely grim but a brisk, bracing walk was just what I needed to blow away the cobwebs after such a bad day yesterday. Of course problems do not miraculously disappear but at least I don't feel like I have the weight of the world on my shoulders today. What will be will be.
