Bags of new year cheer

Happy new year everyone! I hope it brings us all health, love, peace and happiness- oh, and lots of blips and inspiration.

This is a picture of my eyes this morning- or rather the large bags under my eyes and the red tinge to my eyeballs!

Last night we went to my Mum's to celebrate new year and it was so much fun! My Mum, once again, produced a phenomenal feast of hot pot, curry, pasta and much more for us all to munch on. We played my sister's game which is a dog racing game where you bet on which dog wins on the DVD, so much fun with everyone.

We got home at about 2am after waking and transporting the babies, who were amazingly good tempered at that time, and went to bed. As I only had one drink, the red eyes were caused by wide awake and hungry babies not much later!

It was worth it though. Today I have been quite compulsively tidying doing strange things like cleaning out the fridge and cupboards- it's amazing what tiredness does to you!!!
